Romance

Sun Jun 27, 2004, 6:53 PM
I see romance as being able to see beauty and perfection in something then being able to express that intamatly to someone else. somethings in this world are blantantly romantic; a large red sunset sitting on a warm blanket the small velevet coverd box burning a hole in your side. the warm burst of emotion and pleasure as the lips of lovers meet. a hot bath at candle light, taken by two.
If one could truely see beauty and perfection in All things then a life of pure romance has the right soil to bloom in. Believing something is beautiful and perfect is not necesaril romancing or even loving it. Showing that beauty, perfection and compassion towards that person or thing is loving it and romancing it. Romance goes deeper than what movies ad books and television teach us. Romance stems from love, compassion, perfection, beauty, and personal conduct and views.
Romance and Art must be joined. As I have mentioned in the previous entry Art is everything, it is only personal perception that leads someone to state, "that is art," as is art being perfection. The connection between the two seems almost to obvious.
a truely gifted painter when watched is romancing his canvas, he does not merely stab a color here and stroke there, think it looks, "A OK!" and call it finished. instead a gifted painter will not think of such things, each stroke is made in the purpose of bring the beauty andperfection that he sees to this canvas. teach it to see the world through his eyes and give it compassion and beauty and perfection in the process.
In my opinion Romance should be tried, used, tested, experamented and eventualy intergrated into life. To enjoy things, to find beauty in the smallest of things, to bring perfection to life, make life a painting. But on the other side see everyone elses life and views as romantic, and romance their own ideas back to them. This is one way to find and express inner peace.
